My ticker actually moved!! And in the right direction! That's the first time that's happened in FOREVER!! I lost a chunk of weight 5 years back (only 40lb, but it showed) and spent the next 3 years struggling to maintain but just couldn't face another diet to drop the next 40. Over the 3 years, about 10lb crept back. Then 18 months ago, I started working at the mines and ever since, the scales have been on the rise again *sigh*

I've been on the pre-op diet for 8 days now and lost 7.5lb! This is the first they've gone down again in any noticeble way in AGES! YAY!! I go in on Monday morning to make sure it NEVER COMES BACK!

That's great and after Monday you won't have to worry about puting it back on. Have you got everything ready for Monday? Remember to take comfy clothes to wear home as you will still be sore and won't want anything rubbing on your incisions. Hope you have plenty of soups and other drinks waiting for you as well. Will wait to hear from you when you feel up to it.
