I was banded on July 23, 2008:biggrin2:, my preop weight was 239 lost 7lbs on the preop diet, went into surgery weighing 232 currently weigh 226.8 as of 8-10-08. I Just received my surgery date of July 23, I'm so excited. I was very pumped after reading Lisetheloser's blog. However, I read some of this site and became a little more uncertain. I have read more negative things on this site. She was so positive and about the entire experience that I felt I was making the right decision.
