Sat Day 3: more of the same. slim fast, protein coffee, tomato soup. oh well, it will be worth the misery! Thankfully, it's only a week. Band Day is just around the corner--am flucuating between sheer terror and ecstasty. Am anxious to start losing and moving and feeling better in my skin but, afraid that it won't work for me and I'll be the trouble-laden failure of the century. Most likely I'll be somewhere in between but, if I only think of the two extremes right now I'll be pleasantly surprised...

Doc's office called--insurance has agreed to cover my lapband--whew! It is real now. I'm excited, scared, happy, thrilled, fearful, apprehensive all at the same time! I know it is the best thing for me to do at this point in my life but, yet, the unknown is...the unknown-and that is scary.
From what I am reading all of these reactions and feelings are to be expected-it just feels so psycho--its not a small undertaking--whoops, wrong word. Ha...see what i mean?? Say "Goodnight, Gracie."...

:bored Still waiting! Friday PM Doreen faxed the final letter that ICo. requested. The weekend is dragging knowing that it may be next week that they give approval to pay and then we can set a date. I am still hopeful that my Aug pre-op physical will work out regarding the doc & hospital's schedule. **crossing self**
