Sleep lab and Prague

Posted 08-10-2007 at 11:50 AM by NYTrink
I made the appt with the sleep lab today - Sept 18 is the date. Good timing, since the orientation is the 11th, and I think I need to do both around the same time (and can't do anything until Sept since I'm in Europe).

Nasty insomnia last night. Didn't help (maybe even triggered by) that I got my first irate cousin call about the website. SO rude and demanding. hadn't spoken to her in 30 years, and that's what she has to say? Ridiculous. I don't publish anything bu public info on living...

I can't have this on my home or work PC, as I'm afraid of privacy problems or losing data. This seems like a good choice.

I spent some time today going through the exercises suggested in the "Weight Loss Surgery: Is It For You?" book I got from the library. I really...

18 Jul 2007 - starting out/decisions

Posted 08-08-2007 at 01:18 PM by NYTrink
So - I made a decision. It feels right, it feels like I will finally get where I want and need to be.

On Sept 11 I'll be going to Ellis for an orientation/evaluation for getting gastric banding surgery. It sounds scary, and it IS serious, but it feels like the right thing. I have tried SOOOOOOO many different things, and with some success, but always with failure at the end. I'm at a high point in my weight, and I can feel the effects on my general health more all the time - out of...
