This is my first blog to this website so HELLO...I am currently in my pre-op diet 7 days in and 8 days left. It has been a huge struggle over the last 7 days not only to stick to the high protein, low carb pre op diet but I also quit smoking last Monday too.

:whatchutalkingaboutNeedless to say, I have fallen off the wagon a couple of times with food and cigarrettes but I am back on the wagon and ready to go. From reading alot of the blogs it looks like my pre op diet is much better than most so I will now whine about it. I will say that food addiction is a hard thing to overcome in addition to smoking so I will not beat myself over a couple of weak moments.

At this point I am looking for words of encouragement b/c I don't get them from home. I know I can do this and I WANT to do this but its hard to stay focused 100% of the time without support. So here I am.
