It took me two weeks to get to Week 2. I repeated week 1 last week. I can tell I pushed my body to its limits last night. You wouldn't think an additional 30 seconds would make a difference, but boy does it. I did complete it. Woot!

I began the Couch to 5K challenge on Monday, July 21st. To be honest - I thought I was going to die the last interval. My thighs hurt and I was praying not to fly off the back of the treadmill. I started my walk at 3.0 and my jog up to 4.2...It was SO wonderful to finish though. I didn't imagine I could when I started. Of course I got off and I had to find my land-legs. It felt like I'd been on the ocean for a couple of hours. I was dead beat and looked like I'd been caught out in a rainstorm....

Yea! I went in to the OTC (Obesity Treatment Center) today for my first fill and actually got a fill. She numbed me and hit the port - yea! Such a relief from the last time. They weren't sure how much was in my band, so she checked - I was at 4.5 cc. Seeing that I had little restriction (mostly in the morning) she gave me 1.5 cc...I'm now at 6.

So far water has gone down fine - I'm on liquids tonight and then will progress to mushies and soft foods tomorrow. I'm happy to finally have...

Well - I've been remiss about blogging. I've got to do it more. I had my revision surgery two weeks ago. The surgery went great and the doc did a fill of 1.5 at the time. I was back to my old self within a week. The recovery was so much better than the first time. Not considering the band - the port part...that was the hardest for me to recover from. Seeing that it was messed up from day one - is it any wonder?

Well I hit a small roadblock on my journey yesterday. I was SO excited to get my first fill - finally I'd have som restriction.

My appointment was at 10:00. I went in, weighed and was taken to a room. Two nurses come in to talk to me about what I can eat, what I can't eat, how am feeling...and all of that. After our Q & A they go to do my fill.

Thankfully they numbed me good. Although it did take about 20 minutes just to find my port. It is in my upper left breast...
