Well on friday 9/3/07 at 1pm i went into theatre at Western private Hospital and was banded by Dr Peter Nottle. Im led to believe all went straight forward.
Pain in my left shoulder has been an issue with a hot water bottle becoming my best friend. Liquid panadol was not at all adequate pain relif so ive opted for panadeine cut into very small pieces. Having trouble sleeping due to pain plus having to sleep on my back...
Today is day 4 post op and feeling better everyday.......

well the op is on friday and im starting to get nervous..... im having trouble sleeping. I just cant wait to open my eyes next friday and start my journey.
I had the Respiratory Tests last week... all was straight forward and the results were fine. I wasnt pre-warned about the 'Arterial Blood Gases'... they put a large needle in my left wrist artery and drew out some blood... it was not nice.

12/2/07... saw Dr Nottle today.
Was a long wait but well worth it as i got an operation date: 9th march 2007. he was so nice and im so happy ive chosen this path.
Im off to see Physician ( Dr Tran) and Dietician on wednesday 14/2

The 12/2/07 is getting closer everyday and i cant wait. Im sick of looking and feeling huge. Had an MRI at the western Hospital Footscray today... it was horrible. Not only did they put dye in my veins and stick me in what i can imagine a coffin would feel like, i didnt fit in the hospital gown so i had to put 2 on ( one was 'suppose' to do up at the back and i threw on another one with the strings at the front) Hope all is well and then i dont see any reason why the operation wont happen asap.

Well... ive made the initial appointment with Dr Nottle for 14/02/07. Happy Valentines day to me:nervous
Rang clinic to see if i can have initial consult prior to 14/2/07 and I can..... 2 days earlier. Tomorrow or next week would have been great.
