I haven't had much time to journal lately. Things are going okay with the band except I am hungry a lot and think about food all the time. Hopefully when I get my first fill that will help. I was starting to think that I didn't have ANY restriction because I was so HUNGRY! Well, I went out to eat with my family Thursday night. I ate 2 pieces of fish, 5 french fries, 1 of my daughter's chicken strips and was full. When I got home I was in PAIN! That night I had to go to sleep sitting up! ...

I am so glad the journals are back on! Well, went for my first post op. appt. yesterday. Doc says everything looks good. Allowed to go on mushies. Had some refried beans at taco bell because my pals were hungry so we stopped. Those went down good even though I'm not a big fan. Today I haven't eaten anything except some soup. Might try scrambled eggs later. Going back to work Monday (yee ha). Down 14lbs. yesterday at dr. he said that has been the average for people's first post op. I go...

It's me again. I'm just feeling whiny. I have been feeling sick to my stomach all day. Got out to the store today and spent a small fortune on groceries that I can't eat. Everything looked good for a minute there until I had nausea again. My man is in the kitchen cooking and I'm torn because it does smell good but I also feel like I may throw up. :violin:
Okay, I'm gonna take my sorry ass out for a walk. Oh, by the way I had a very small wet bm this afternoon. First one since surgery....

Well I've gone a walk around the block twice today. Feeling a little better today. Still sore and bloated. When I was out walking someone was cooking something and boy did it smell good. Getting my appetite back now. Can start full liquids Sat. Looking forward to that after being on clear. Hope everything goes down okay. I think I may try to drive today. Need to do a few errands. Might go to the library too. Everyone here has a cold, I hope they feel better and don't give it to me.

Well today I came home from the hospital. Surgery went well yesterday. I haven't had anything to eat since Saturday evening. Have been on liquids since then. Just water and ice since surgery. Some pain, I think mostly from the gas. Incisions are fairly sore, not too bad I guess. The one by the port hurts the most. My daughter accidently plopped down on my stomach, that didn't feel so hot... Hopefully I feel back to normal soon.
