I'm a 31 y/o graphic designer in the Washington DC area, and I was REALIZE banded on February 9, 2010. I also happen to be planning a wedding... and I'm using an LBT blog to chronicle my daunting adventure!

My surgery is tomorrow! I’ve got my overnight bag packed and I’ve washed with Hibiclens and I’ve had my last drink of water for the night. I’m ready to go… but some serious nerves are setting in. The crazily unplowed and treacherous conditions of the roads in this area aren’t helping; my fiancé is going to pick up my mom and take us both to the hospital in the morning, and we’re leaving WAY early, but I’m still worried about the drive.

And then we’re getting more snow tomorrow night, and I’m worried it’ll be tough to get home on Wednesday. I’m getting a little irritated with this weather and its impact on my banding plans! I suppose worrying about the weather is less stressful than worrying about all the things that can go wrong on the operating table.

Wish me luck!

Good Luck to you! Don't worry about getting home on Wednesday, the important part is getting the band!
