I was banded on 4/18 and I'm a mess...

Went shoe shopping...I normally wear a 9 1/2...today I was able to buy 8 and 8 1/2!!!!!!! Totally forgot the feet would shrink..and wasn't expecting that much:-)
Well, it's Day three, and I'm still losing (slowly...this reminds me of the first few days after surgery, watching the scale go backwards!!!!) It's not a large loss, but I do feel like I'm down and my "belly fat" is surely shrinking!

After having the band for almost a year, I'm finally scheduled to get a second fill. I will get my 2nd fill and hopefully the fill will help me lose more weight. I hit a plateau and it seems like i broke it but i lose and gain 2-3 lbs. Hopefully the second fill helps me out.
I got banded back on may 3rd. Ive been on liquids and Tomorrow I can start mushies. But i have to tell you I am hungry every hour!!!

Getting some strange looks from folks after they found out that I was having lap-band surgery... i have my cpac machine. smaller than i thought. i would say about the size of a spiral notebook.
grey in color. maybe weights 2 to 3 pounds..not at all what i expected. very pleased.

Day 6 of optifast/liquid diet. Its difficult but not quite as bad as the last few days each day is less hard for me. Im weak alot and tired too. Had my first doc appointment yesterday in which there was no adjustment made. It has been 6 weeks since my last appointment. I haven't felt hungry between meals since that fill, and still pretty good restriction. Definitely noticing a difference in the way my clothes fit. I had my surgery April 26 2012 and am currently on soft moist foods. I am in so much pain from gas its unreal. I have tried everything from beano to gas x, walking, laying on the floor everything. I'm so distressed that I want to cry and am currently regretting my decision to have the lapband. Can anyone help deal with this issue..

I'm super excited to say the least. I'm so happy to be getting my surgery and get my confidence back. I have did all the requirements which took almost a year going back a fourth with the insurance on what I needed to do. But I got my approval letter 2 weeks ago and my surgery has been scheduled for May 22, 2012.
I currently live in Juneau Alaska.
I am from Honolulu.
