Hi everyone, well just got home after having my port replaced by Stephen Blamey at the Cabrini hospital. I cant believe how quick and easy everything was!! The staff were great! I was admitted at 7am, in by 8am and woke up at 9, was on my way home by 10, which is wonderful. Walking around easy, no discomfort which im very happy bout. I just hope that the port replacement does the trick and thats were the leak was and its not somewhere else along the band. MMM, onto my second cup of coffee,...

Hi all...I'm new to this, infact this is my first entry ever and still learning my way round. Ive only had my band for 4 months and with my luck it has a leak, so im going in for surgery tomorrow to have the port replaced. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else so soon and whether theyve had any problems with scar tissue build up as thats what im worried about?
