I am 7 months out and I have not lost a lb. in 2 months. I developed some belching so my doctor took some out. I'm still not losing. I can eat more that they say I'm supposed to. Any Ideas? And by the way, anybody thats 7 mo out, how much are you eating now and how your weight loss?
Thanks

Hi...I am 2yrs out with my band and have still not reached my goal. Do not get disappointed and definately do not compare yourself to others, it can get discouraging. Some just lose it slower, but thats okay we eventually get there. There were times that I would go several months without a loss or just keep gaining and losing the same 5lbs. Are you working out? As for the amount that your able to eat. I have always been able to eat more than "the normal". The doctor still doesn't believe that I am able to eat steak and bread. Some people can't. And I am almost at my full 4cc maximum. I have never had that "sweet spot" that everyone talks about. But something must be working for me because I have seen numbers on the scale I haven't seen in a long time. Don't get discouraged, just keep chugging along. Remember, it doesn't matter how fast you get there as long as you eventually arrive, and you are definately pointed in the right direction. Good Luck and just stick with it.

I too was banded in March. I had a big stall Aug & Sept. Just this past week the scale is moving down. I started to log my food again. I think it makes a difference as you actually know what and how much you're eating. You never think you're eating as much as you are. Yep I can eat more then the recommended normal, but I really try to measure out my meals. It is a mind game. You think you need more then you do. Have a smaller portion and give yourself permission to have more if you are hungry 10minutes after you have eaten. Odds are you won't want anymore.

    Good luck,
    Amanda
