What is in a label? What is a label? There are many kinds of labels. What we give ourselves often becomes our self fulfilling prophecies. Hurt, alone, scared, angry, single, married, we are what we define ourselves to be.

And then there are the labels that are not self subscribed, and often those are the ones we hold so close to our heart, even if it hurts. A bitch, fat, lazy, stupid, 'oh she's --single still'. They are often hurtful and mean, but yet we still let them become a definition...

I must confess I feel really good. I am starting my full liquid diet tomorrow and I have been exercising and have been cleaning house. I went and had a manicure and pedicure today. I am so excited about my new life with my band. I will be weighing tomorrow for the first time since surgergy.

When I woke this morning, I had planned on doing a quick blog before I went for the procedures, but I got lazy.

Anyway, the upper GI and the GB ultrasound are done. The GB ultrasound was pretty routine, I just laid there while she scanned my GB, Kidneys, liver and spleen. NO BIG DEAL. The Upper GI was fine as well, with the exception of drinking that chalky barium! So, you drink the barium, swallow it and the tech has you hold your breath. Well, then you are laid down on the xray...
