It is so hard to believe that the summer is over. Everything is going so fast. I have my endoscope this week and get the band next week. I knew that TriCare moved fast but I am still shocked by the whole thing. I am glad that it is going fast so that I don't have time to get scared and talk myself out of this. I have been buyin a few things the last few days. I found a little bowl with a lid and a small strainer that fits over the top. That way when we go out I can get the soup and strain...

Is this going to postpone my surgery scheduled in 3 days?

I'm almost 4 weeks post op. I'm not feeling as though I'm losing fast enough. I'm finally getting the correct amount of protein and fluids in. I'm walking 30 minutes a day. It's like the scale has froze. I am following the rules by the book and not seeing the results. Any ideas on how to pick up the paste? Since 2 wks ago I've lost 2lbs.

I started my journey towards lapband on 6/24/08 at a start weight of 258. I work at a hospital as a CNA and unit clerk, and I'm on their insurance. We have a baractric center inside and I never paid much attention. Many times I passed the posters in the hall and looked at the huge wheelchair near the entrance, and I even work on the unit that takes care of people after their weight loss surgery but I never gave it much thought.

wELL, I got my slipped band repositioned a few months ago. I had severe reflux and difficulty more with water than food, before my repair. The recovery for the band slip was very easy.

Now, I would like to lose some more weight, but since I now have no difficulty eating, like I did when my band was slipped, I'm having trouble staying away from food!

I have to make better food choices. I have lost over 75 pounds. So, how can I not be grateful for this band. Even...
