"Muscle weighs more than fat." Do you know how many times I've heard that in the month of July? Too many. But finally that wicked scale finally threw me a bone and dropped by two pounds. I'm now under 240.

Now, I'm not whining although it sounds like it. I have biked over 170 miles since July 3rd. So I deserved to drop at least 5 pounds in my mind. Don't you agree? Yes, the inches are dropping off too but I'm yet to drop a full size so that will be the telling moment....

So here it is - i just yesterday had my last office visit before my 8/12 banding i am getting reall excited going to have some clothing optional pictures taken of me so i can compare before and after I have to admit i go completely liquid saturday and i am a lil nervous. I went to sleep very easily last night, however I woke up at 3am to use the bathroom and could not get back to sleep.
I finally got up around 3:40, checked my email and responded to one of them, then went back to bed. I think I dozed off and on and I just decided to go ahead and get up around 5:45.

It has been 3 weeks since surgery and this is the best I have felt in years. I've lost a total of 22 pounds in 3 weeks and my clothes are starting to get loose and I can really tell that I have lost weight when I look in the mirror. My blood pressure is normal and I have not had to take medication for my reflux since I have had surgery.

Before having children I weighed 135 pounds. I remember weighing 180 pounds on delivery day with my oldest daughter and I was horrified! After I had her my weight went down to 150, but I never really lost the extra baby weight. Well after my daughter, I went on to have 6 more children and none of them were twins.
