today is post op day 1 and i feel great. yesterday was not a bad day either. i had only 1 tsp of my pain meds just so i could go to sleep. just a lil bit sore at my surgery sites but thats to be expected. i just took a shower and about 3 swallows of a protein shake. everyday will get better and better. will post something a little later.....

went to the fill center, did a fleuroscopy with the dye and NO LEAK! but last week i was at 5.4 and i am back to 3.1 so i have to go back to the surgeon for further tests
but my surgeon cannot see me till august 5th! i feel a little restriction, but i am just not sure. can these things get clogged up? she pulled everything out, put in 10 of dye and then withdrew it and put the fill in to 5 again, i was used to 7, i feel ok, just tired and a little sore, but she said sometimes the ports get...

I have been banded last year November 2007 and so far have lost 47 pounds. Not that great and for the last 3 months I have hit a serious plateau and don't seem to be able to lose a pound. I need to lose another 50 pounds and it does not go. I am in the gym every day for a workout and I have cut down eating, I stick with protein, and very little carb. I am not sure what to do anymore........ Help please.........
I had 3 fills already and am at 10 cc so my doctor would not do another fill.........

I leave for the hospital at noon. A friend is driving me. I can't eat or drink but brushed teeth twice and am rinsing mouth. Yes, I am nervous but have faith in my surgeon, Dr. Teng. My daughter is sleeping; we hugged goodbye last night. My son is at summer school. I'll call him from the hospital.

I'm not taking much to the hospital. They have gowns you can put on like a robe and booties, although my sandals can be worn like slippers. I am taking a change of clothes, 2 books, my cell...

I went in for my follow up and was at 189 lbs. Down 46 1/2 lbs. since surgery. I had to have a slight unfill due to vomitting. I can't seem to get these allergies under controll. It is causing an enourmous amount of mucus. That is what is causing the vomitting. I hope this is a good adjustment for me. I'd like to see the weight start to fall off again. I say, ONE DAY AT A TIME!
