Sort of Excited!

Posted 06-09-2008 at 10:45 PM by heartfire
I got a call today from the Bariatric Surgery Dept. I go to a Surgeon's Class on the 23rd to meet with the bypass surgeon here. I'm hoping to then find out from him what I need to do to get the band. There are now rumors that the band surgery will be coming to our area and I won't have to go to the bay area for the surgery but I'll wait to hear from the surgeon on the 23rd before making plans regarding that.

I was thinking though, that IF they are going to start doing LB here then

Just wanted to share something that is non-lapband talk

Posted 06-09-2008 at 06:03 PM by GramaLisa
Hi everyone,
I am in the process of being pre-approved for surgery. I began my journey on May 17, 2008. Time to hurry up and wait as we say in my house! In just one teeny little hour we will find out if my daughter's FOURTH child is a boy or girl!!! She has a son and two daughters so we are hoping for a boy to even things out! I can't wait for the visit to the Four-D ultrasound place tonight. This is gonna be fun!!! Lisa

I know that my learning curve is a bit handicapped because of the events over the past 2 years and I am just now having the time to evaluate and deal with the changes I need to make...granted this is just an excuse again but I can see how I got a bit lost.

I can't take week-ends off or a "band-vacation" I have to make this a full-time life-time commitment. This...

Ready.... Set....

I had the chance to sign up for COBRA through aetna since I worked at Starbucks. This was the best thing to happen. The process has been nothing but easy. This is a true answer to prayer.

My goal is to get healthy. I'm only 4' 11'' and weight over 212. I'd love to loose 90. God.. and I just want to...
