Still head hungry!

I was banded June 09, 2008 at GBMC in Baltimore by Dr. Babak Molinolmolki. I had a hernia fixed at the same time so my surgery took 4 hours and I spent two days in ICU. What a great place! They had the coolest bed, with a flip of the switch it morphed into a chair and had a built in scale!
I have heard all the warnings about not eating bread but of course I had to try. Not problem maybe because it was a tortilla but haven't had nausea or pain. I do have a lot of trouble making meals...

I am scheduled for surgery on 7-7-2008. I have three small children under the age of 4. Anyone out there in a similar situation? How did you deal post-op. I know I am not supposed to lift them for 4 weeks after surgery. I can use any advise that I can get. I am so excited about my surgery, but nervous about coping with my kids.

I would have hoped to have lost more weight almost two years post surgery but I had a complication which I am now just getting over.
I started vomiting January of this year but did not tell my doctor. I can't tell you why but it was a definite mistake on my part, because by March I couldn't keep anything down. My doctor unfilled my band for 3 months and told...

so my insurance has three requirements before they will cover the surgery 1.)BMI 40+ 2.)morbidly obese for the last 5 years and 3.)21 years of age and above.

since I'm only 19 and have no medical reason YET my DR told me today that she will not recommend me for it but she send them a letter saying that i have requested it. now how is that any different from me saying it? if the insurance company requires a Dr recommendations then why bother to send a recommendation from me??? I'm not...
