What's the use?

Posted 06-15-2008 at 10:31 PM by serenity55

It was at that time I decided I had to get off my butt and get some real exercise.

Yesterday, for the first time since starting my journey, I was able to jog the entire way. I do a 30 minute workout that has a warm-up for...

I keep forgetting to eat, which isn't good for a diabetic.

my girls are smiling and being little girls again. They just got their ears pierced and that has made their eyes sparkle. I have started seeing myself the way others have been looking at me. very large. it has been a new thing for me to see myself under this other person that I have walking around with. wow, I weigh twice as much as I did 20 years ago. I have been thinking about all the foods that we are not suposed to eat after being banded and have realized that there are very few that I actually...

The Day I stopped Feeding the Beast

Posted 06-15-2008 at 12:06 AM by Kaz Radford
Between January 2005 and January 2006 I lost 53 Kilos doing the Atkins diet. I've since regained 35 of them.
So many diets and soooo many failures. I've made two feeble attempts since then losing and gaining 10 kilos each time.
In March this year I decided to go ahead with the band.
Good thing was my insurer agreed to pay half. I have to say though that's the cheap part, the surgery to remove all of my excess skin at the end of this is what'll bankrupt me.
