Does anyone know anything about Lap band International? They are having a special for summer $6000 for the lap band. In TJ Mexico. Has anyone ever gone there that knows anything about this? Let me know it seems to good to be true?

I got banded on May 16, 08. I am still on liquids, but when I eat I get left shoulder pain I even get the shoulder pain if I'm driving.Can anyone help me on what this pain is all about?

I have not blogged in a little while, so today is my day! I am excited as I have lost 27 lbs. at this point. My band was put on April 19th and tomorrow is 6 weeks plus my first fill. I know I need it, I can eat more than I was, so the restriction has lessened. I think I could have lost more, but 3 weeks ago today I fell and broke my ankle and my leg, so no walking or exercising going on. I'm hanging in there, staying positive, feeling and looking different.

This week-and-a-half-long food bender is finally over. Thank GOD. I ripped ff my pyjamas this morning and said "OK, we're done wallowing, let's deal with what we did this week and make a plan."
