Hospital called

The hospital called today and did my registration by phone! I've been pre-admitted. One more thing to make a checkmark by.

I go on the pre-op diet in 3 days. I'm ready - ready to get it done.

I do think its weird that my appointments were in Richardson, my surgeon is in Hurst and the hospital is in Decatur. All of which is at least a 2 hour drive for me. But it will be worth it.

12 weeks Post & 4th Fill

I got My Lapband done on March 03, 2008.
I was weighting 255 lbs b4 the surgery and this past wenesday May 28, 2008 i went for my weight in and for my 4th fill and to my suprise I am now weight 232 Lbs.

I am very happy with the results.
Its been hard to adjust to this new metho; meaning i haved chocked a few times and have seen myself forced to vomit. but i have learned to adjust and avoid certain foods (the hard way..jaja)

So I have scheduled my appointment for surgery and am SO excited!! It will be on July 16th. I really feel that this will change my life. Not that my life is bad, but my health is. So if anyone is out there reading this and wants to give me any info, I would very much appreciate it!!

3 weeks post op

Hey guys had surgery on 05/12 weighed in like a small sumo wrestler @ 290lbs now I am at 275.6 lbs. Has anyone struggled with food? I am so tired of those protein shakes I don't know what to do.

Fill Number 4

I had my 4th fill yesterday, I now have 2.6 in a 4 CC band. I don't know if I have any restriction because I am on liquids, but I sure hope I do. I can't wait to join the ranks of the restricted!

My Dr. now requires a Barium swallow before each fill. A lot of people are throwing a fit and not going. There is a $50.00 fee for the Barium Swallow and I think that is pretty fair. I know I would rather be on the safe side and make sure there are no problems before he makes me tighter.
