Started the 6 month diet, scheduled the psych eval, seminar in a few days...

Posted 05-28-2008 at 04:18 PM by Bjornsyouruncle
So I started dieting on Friday. I desperately need to up my water intake to 64 ounces (if not more!) a day, not just for dieting but for life in general.

I was 277.4 Friday and today I was 272.8 so at least I know low-carbing still works for me. But if I could up my water intake and drop some of the water weight maybe I could shrink into some of my nicer dresses before my cousin's wedding in a week and a half!

So I scheduled my psych evaluation for next Thursday. I need...

Another lesson in patience

Posted 05-28-2008 at 03:57 PM by Kate Eryn
It's funny. When I first decided/was approved for the band, I couldn't contain myself. I wanted the new life immediately, I wanted it now now now and I could not stop thinking about what life would be like 2, 4 years from having the band inserted.

Looking back at my journey, I can see the whole bigger lesson in patience. It happened in its own time, my wishing and obsessing did nothing to hurry it, only making it seem longer.

I Can't Afford It...

Posted 05-28-2008 at 02:24 PM by BikiniBeachy

The lowest I would pay at Brown in Denver would be $5,000. I have to get this surgery for free, I have to...I just have to. I know others have, and I have to too.

I am looking at 2 more years of school, and until then I can't work more than part-time, and my bills are...

Pb?

Posted 05-28-2008 at 02:20 PM by Stitchy (Stitchy's Journal)
Just when I think I have everything under control, I got sick last nite. I'm used to the sliming ... no big deal, but I threw up. The only thing I had different was homemade (at a cafe) clam chowder for lunch. I was expecting smooth and creamy but it was rather chunky and the clam were a bit gritty. I couldn't eat very much of it and put the rest in the frige. After dinner, ugh. This morning, I still have an upset tummy, a headache and sore muscles. Maybe I just have a bug?
