Food and Feelings

Well, I thought about writing a poem, but I’m not coming up with anything clever right now, so I’ll just write.

I’m obsessed with food. I’ve just had potatoes and eggs, and I wish I could have something sweet, but not just a small piece of cake, or five cookies. I wish I could go on a binge n have glazed doughnuts, an apple fritter, Mother’s oatmeal cookies, some pound cake, banana pudding, maybe ice cream to go with the cake

Even as I’m eating something, I’m thinking...

and the pain was, well, painful
the bass drum finally stopped playing
and my eyesight is much better
I hate "blinding" headaches where you squint at any bright light to keep your eyes from popping out

after it stormed and everything moved out of the area
my headache just...

Wow! What a busy month! Should have known I didn't need to stress over the round-trip plane ride with DD. She did great! She had fallen asleep during the landing in Seattle so missed it but was awake for the return trip landing in Sacramento and was awed and clapping and laughing! She had a good time with that one! She hates being cooped up all the time so I wasn't sure if she would balk and constantly getting in and out of her stroller during the airport stuff and then not being able to to...

Well here i am, just trying to take my first steps in the process of potential lap band surgery...... baby steps, that is all that I can do. I remember "starting" the process 3 years ago. I called someone, and had an appointment to be seen 2 months later. but then i thought i could do it on my own...... so a few weeks before the consult, i called and said "hey i am doing this on my own, i've lost 8lbs since i've made the appointment" Well looking back on some old journals,...

Hello Everyone my name is Jake i live In Las Vegas Nevada I just got my Band Last Friday 5/23/2008 Dr. Akins did my Band hes a really good doctor but its now Wendsday and i am still kind of Hurting is this Normal i dont see my doctor till 6/2/2008 and i have lost 20 pounds in 4 days i started at 260 and now am 239 is there anyone here in Las Vegas thats been throw this???? Male or Female let me know
