After all of the drama with my work the recommendation is now instead of firing me that they will "give" me 40 hours suspension w/o pay and I have to take a counseling class on "inter-personal office relationships". Whatever. I put in an application for another job today. I'll keep "yes sir, no sir, whatever you say sir" until I can get out of there. Who needs...

I had my first fill today. I thought I was going to have to talk the Dr into it but he just said "sure if you really want one".
1.5cc in the 4cc band. I've heard horror stories about fills being tough, Dr digging to get the port, but it was a breeze. I don't know if it was the excitement or what but I got a little lightheaded for a few minutes after. So now its liquids for a few days then soft.

I had my lap band surgery on New Year's Eve 2007. I have had 4 fills and have lost a 27 1/2 pounds. Yeah me!!! I am just at the point where I can really feel it. And well, this was suppose to be "my year"! But I was handed another issue to resolve first. I have been recently diagnosis with a brain tumor. Doctor believes it is benign, we will know more once the pathology report comes back after the surgery. I am trying to stay focused and positive. Although sometimes it is a little hard....

Well, my name is Ronda and I have decided to try and have the lapband surgery here in Springfield, MO with Dr. Edwards from St. John's. I went to the seminar in Feb. 08 and started the process. I finished the last requirement with them this last monday and now my paperwork has been submitted to my insurance company and I am just waiting to find out if I am going to be able to go through with the lapband procedure.

I am very excited about this process and have really enjoyed everything...
