Today was awesome. I didnt starve at all like the past couple of days. iv lost 5 lbs in 4 days(probably water weight). I didnt feel tempted by any food or want anything special that i cant have. I woke up this morning feeling so good and calm. I wish everyday was as easy as today. I just got my Lap Band on 4/28/08.....I feel pretty good today I have not even taken an pain medication.I have looked at others on here and everyone looks good.....Congrats

Well I have been reading all the wonderful blogs for the last two weeks. You guys are great to each other and very inspirational.
I had my seminar a couple of weeks ago and have my Dr appointment May 22 2008. My weight at this time is 242 on my 5 foot frame. yuk!!!! It has been a week since I attended the seminar and….today at work I got the phone call that my benefits have been verified.:biggrin2: I am not approved, I just have benefits that cover the lab band and I don’t have to do a diet first. I am pretty stoked about that. My OB/GYN faxed over my weight records also and I have all the pre-paperwork all done. My initial consult appt. is May 20. 20 days away and I am getting closer to starting my new life.

Omg...I am starving. I decided to start my "diet" today. I am really not sure when I am supposed to start...someone said two weeks before surgery and that sorta stuck in my head. I am about 4 weeks from surgery but figured I might as well begin now.

So this morning...I woke up and I really wasn't hungry. THANK GOODNESS. About an hour after I got up I had hunger pains. So...I made my protein shake...it's alright. ...
