Tomorrow is the big day!

Well, tomorrow I get Lap Banded! Saw Dr. Spivak on Saturday, paid Monday and Wednesday I get my band, I am so excited I can't wait. Will post as soon as I feel up to it hopefully tomorrow night or at least by Thursday am. I am going through such an array of emotions right now, this will be my first surgery since loosing my Mom and the thought of her not there physically is hard, but this was her wish for me, I am doing this for the both of us!

Hi, everyone, I am 3 weeks post op. I have tried to be very careful with my diet. I have had exercise every day. I have had terrible shoulder pain, meds, diet exercise do not help.
I have lost average of 10 pounds so far.
I am worried about where to get my first fill (and how many I might need.) I am between Toronto Canada (London Ontario area) and Detroit Michigan. I have been told floros with your fill is the best route. ??????? I am worried about the ultimate cost of this all, but

i'm 199.5 today.
Tom too. I have found that when its TOM i swell up and cant do food very well at all for a day or two. Its okay, because two days before i was eating everything in the house. I shop well so its not a huge problem.

Whew...what ive found..i can eat BREAD sometimes without much problem, even a quarter to a half of a sandwich sometimes. it comes and goes and i can tell when its going to be okay. Best advice my surgeon gave me was that if i had a pb or threw up, liquids...

one week after surgery

Well, I'm one week after surgery and doing just fine. The worst part of the surgery was staying in the recovery room for over 7 hours because there was no inpatient bed for me. Luckily, I work in a hospital and was not shocked by everything going on around me. The pain wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and I wasn't even as bruised as I thought I would be. I am supposed to be on lliquids only for the next week and then progress to pureed foods, but the protein drinks gave me horrible diarrhea...

I had a great workout last night on the elliptical machine, burned 340 calories! I'm building my strength back up and was able to do over 30 min on it last night. I'm trying to get back to 45 min. Slowly but surely!

I have 61 days until my cruise. Here is a challenge to myself -

1) For the next 60 days I will do a minimum of 45 min of cardio 5 days a week. This means I can go down during break and do 15 min on each break = 30 min, and in the evening I will do some at...
