April 24th
Today I have only 13 days till I get banded and I had to lose 15 pounds before surgery and when I went to my nurse appointment Mon. of course I did not meet my goal weight so I am on liquid diet till surgery. I really just don't know how I will handle this. I joined this site to get information on life after the band and how to prepare such small meals. If you have found things that work please let me know, this has been a big concern for me.

I am really getting tired of saying that..."pre-band" I don't think I will EVER have insurance approval!! But it HAS only been about 10 days, so I really have no right to complain. Some people wait a lot longer than that!

My pre-op diet is going MUCH better! I have lost 10 pounds already! Having a hard time with food the past couple of days. I think I just need to get my head screwed back on right. Work has been chaotic because of testing, so lunck schedules are messed...

Okay, I've regrouped and I'm on track. I made journal sheets to track my food(calories/protein), water, vitamins, and exercise. I get my new treadmill this weekend and can't wait to get that chapter of my life going! I lost another 2 pounds!!!!! YEAH! 6 more for my mini goal!

I'm about to end clears and start mushies. So excited to get some food in and yet i'm worried at the same time that i won't make good choices. Time to take control and do this.

I've decided..and will try to remind myself when times are tough (like now--hunger) that i will not be fat anymore. I'm 28 and i can barely clean my freakin house. I worry about which restaurants I go to (if i can fit in the seats), i'm afraid to fly...i'm literally watching my life pass me by. I'm sick of...

Well this is my second time on here. I really think it's great that we could all encourage each other in different areas. I had my band put on in august of 07 in Tijuana, MX. My doctor was Dr. Gabriel Guttierrez. Before I had my band put on I was a size 24 and after a month and a half I went down to size 18. I was very happy and thought that I didn't need a fill. I gained about 15 pounds back becuase I didn't follow the diet plan for the first three months. I kept eating constantly. I was very bad...
