Today my husband surprised me with a trip to Bermuda. He said that he is so proud of what Im doing that he wants to reward me for all my hard work.
I think it is wonderful because it is four months away and I will be needing a boost by then, and new clothes. What he doesn't know is that all my summer stuff isn't going to fit and I will be needing to shop for stuff to wear. Woo Hoo. Win Win.

I'm very excited and looking forward to moving into a healthier phase of my life. Right now I am just a little scared but I think that is natural because this is surgery not just an expensive trip to the doctor. My emotions are really making me wonder about my job, so-called relationship, and life in general. Who knows? My family and some friends are supportive of my decision so I'm not alone. I'm scheduled to meet the surgeon Dr. David Kim on Friday and look forward to April 17....

Well, had my psych evaluation, exercise & nutritional sessions today.
Psych: Paid $200 while she watched me fill in circles on a form. She was nice but I felt that they were only weeding out people that would possibly sue the surgeons later afterwards. I felt that it was in place for the hospital and not the well being of the patients. I really could care less - until I had to write the check!!! The other thing I thought was weird is that she didn't shake my hand upon greeting me or...

Tomorrow is my day...I can't wait. I've gone thru the I can do this without surgery talk with myself and know that without the surgery I would just lose weight, like in the past and regain it again. I'm so happy to know that I will always have this little tool with me to help me keep my weight in line. It has been a rough 6 months but I have finally arrived. And arrived 40 pounds lighter,I might add!. I'm am so happy that I have followed everything I've been told to do. Now for an uneventful surgery...
