I am into my 4th day of the Slim Fast diet and still get hungry in the evening. After reading some of the discussions on this forum I am getting pretty nervous. Sounds like there is more pain involved and people don't get back to work as early as my Dr told me---3 days. I know I need to do this but I will sure miss bread, beer and diet coke.

Hello I am a lapband investigator (5'10", 325lbs, BMI 46.6). I want it but I am scared. I am hungry all the time and worried that the post op food is not enough. I am also worried about missing out on all my favorites postop and what about going out to eat with family. I don't want to be a drag on them.

I am trying to start a pre pre pre surgery weight loss. My cardiologist said for me to lose 5 lbs, I didn't ask in what time frame. I have had two heart stents (last one Feb 25th)...

Ok, tomorrow is the last day of this liquid diet-thank goodness! I am so sick of diet jello and broth. Not quite 2 weeks post-op and I am down 66 pounds, so that is a good feeling. I have had absolutely no pain that I would associate with the surgery, lots of gas, but that was expected. Am wanting to get back into exercising, and swimming more, need to tighten up some of this skin.

Went grocery Shopping today, purchased all the items I need for my pre-op diet. 10 more days till surgery. Made chicken soup w/ extra broth, I drained some of the broth into plastic containers for the week, and froze them. I have enough for the whole week, and the rest of the chicken soup is for my family ( which has the veggies & chicken) all i need to do is add pastina in it for them. I'm still very nervous... but I'm keepin calm by keeping busy. Trying not to think about it much.. (hard to...
