Hi, everyone, I am 3 weeks post op. I have tried to be very careful with my diet. I have had exercise every day. I have had terrible shoulder pain, meds, diet exercise do not help.
I have lost average of 10 pounds so far.
I am worried about where to get my first fill (and how many I might need.) I am between Toronto Canada (London Ontario area) and Detroit Michigan. I have been told floros with your fill is the best route. ??????? I am worried about the ultimate cost of this all, but

one week after surgery

Posted 04-29-2008 at 11:03 AM by bigbonedgal
Well, I'm one week after surgery and doing just fine. The worst part of the surgery was staying in the recovery room for over 7 hours because there was no inpatient bed for me. Luckily, I work in a hospital and was not shocked by everything going on around me. The pain wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and I wasn't even as bruised as I thought I would be. I am supposed to be on lliquids only for the next week and then progress to pureed foods, but the protein drinks gave me horrible diarrhea...

Did my band slip?

Posted 04-29-2008 at 07:15 AM by LNich
I had my fourth fill last Thursday, April 24. I did liquids Thursday & Friday. Saturday I tried eating soft solids, got sick. Got sick several times on Sunday. Now, I feel like I have constant heartburn, and can't hardly eat or drink anything without getting sick. It was a little like this after my third fill, but it got better after a week or so. This time is worse. I haven't called my doctor yet. I was hoping that it would get better. Anybody else experience this?
