I am not sure how to put into words how I feel. The day I got my approval letter I was so happy. Then, an hour later I had a panic attack. Literally. I haven't had a full-blown panic attack in years. Things I WON'T miss (but seriously can't imagine life without yet):

My thighs rubbing together

Snoring (done!)

Shopping at stores with large sizes (kinda done!)

Not worrying about fitting into booths/chairs/plane seats/etc (done!)

Having to work twice as hard to hike/ride a horse/etc. (done!)

Being unbelievably embarrassed in a bathing suit

Being over the weight limit on our kayak (done!)...

i was banded on 4/8 and weighed 289 that day yesterday i weighed 275 and today i gained a pound. i am still on all liquid diet and i am sticking to it i only have protein shakes, water cream of chicken soup and sugar and fat free jello and pudding. does anyone know why i have gained i am just a little bit concerned:confused2:

I had to be at the hospital at 7:30. They took me right back and my nurse went ahead and started my IV, hooked me up to the warming machine - Bear Paws - through my gown, put my little socks on and we got to play 20 questions. A few minutes later my family was able to come back and sit with me until it was time to go to surgery.
