I am 3 years out of surger, I have lost 240 lbs (started at 444 lbs). I recently gained 80 lbs back in the last 2 months. I had an endoscopy completed last week, now I am just curious as to what is next now that I found that my band has erroded into my stomach... I didn't even notice till I started to see the weight gain. I know this isn't normal but I want to know if it is correctable? does this mean that I will need the other surgery rather than the band?

ok so Friday 4/11/08 I decided to get with the program and exersice. So my 14yr old and I went to the gyme and got on the treadmill, well that was fine but she was realy walking fast so I was trying to keep up with her and then I decided that I would do it for 45 min. Well let me tell you, I got a blister on my foot and the next moring my back hurt so bad I could not get out of bed. I had to take a muscle relaxer and go back to bed. My legs and hips and butte hurt but nothing I couldn't handle....

I was losing about 2-3 pounds a week. Then came March's time of the month. I GAINED about 5 pounds--up to 228 from 223! And now I'm down to 220. So, I guess technically it's down 8 pounds, but wow! It seems to have taken forever (relatively speaking).

I know this is not a competition. I know that no one's weight loss will be like mine. I know that if I continue to eat this way, I WILL continue to lose weight. But, when you are used to the scale doing one thing and it does...

Okay, so, as almost everyone I know, knows, I am terrible at dating.

first step was call the insurance company. did it!
