I am scared of surgery too. But I did have an abdominal hysterectomy. I doubt if the pain for lapband would be worse than that and that wasn't horrible. People don't think of hysterectomy's as amputations, but that's what it was...

The seminar was amazing. I sat there with my mouth dropped to the floor. All these years and all these pains and ailments I have had can be directly linked to my being over weight. I knew something's but not all of them. Why in the world didn't a doctor never say to me...if you had weight loss surgery half if not all of your medical problems would disappear?
I had to fight back tears while I was there, it is so moving to know there is help...

You know I am so motivated by the Biggest Looser. I had thought about after I reached my goal weight would I have sug. to flatten out my tummy but i have decided that I will workout really hard to make sure that my body is how i want it to be. I am so pumped up about loosing this weight It aint funny. As the weather gets warmer that just pushes me more to get to where I really want to be. There is more to life than being fat, lazy... I want to enjoy life. It is already too short and it dosen't...

I'm all set. All tests complete. Now I wait. Beaumont said that it's about a 1 month wait for the psych eval to come back. I'm not sure how considering all I did was pay $200 to fill in some circles. Oh well. Hopefully it will not take that long. I've been good on my psudo-preop diet. I took the suggestion of another blogger and started to log my food onto mydailyplate.com It's AWESOME!!! I feeling good ... and on track ... and not overwhelmed at the thought of 'never being able to eat again'....
