I was banded on March 18th in TJ. I have a doctor here in my hometown...and I like him a lot. I told him that I was starting to feel really hungry and that I can eat quite a bit (mushies). He scheduled me for a band on April 1st (which will be my two mark). I really feel like I need it. Any opnions on this?

Additionally, what type of diet do you guys recommend after I get my first fill? I am sure he will let me know, but I'd like to know what all of you eat or drink....

Well I have successfully taken off 162 pounds now, and I thought that was the hard part. That unfortunately has been far from true.I am more terrified now of my weight than I ever have been. Food and exercise controls my thoughts, my sleeping moments (which have become rare) and my waking moments.

Why is the battle of the brain in weight loss harder than the battle of the buldge? No matter what anyone says to me, I see the old me. The lady with the "good personality" that...

So I got my head in the game today...the statistics have been bothering me, not that I put much stock in any stats but when they say that only so many people loose all of their weight, or that at x amout of time, 50% of people of gained back x amount of weight...it starts to make you think that this really isn't going to work.
Today, as I was thinking about that and if it is the right thing to do, and how fat I am and all that garbage, it dawned on me that those are JUST STATS, and it doesn't...
