This is my first blog...I am very excited about my "journey." I am scheduled for LapBand surgery 04/08/2008 @ 12:30pm...Fortunately for me, I had a very easy approval process, it was actually completed in 1 week...I had all my appointments completed in a week...I don't know how to get that BMI tape measurer thing on the bottom of my signature like so many of you guys...So, I will just write it out....I am 5'9 1/2 and 364 lbs, with a BMI of 54!! That's just damn ridiculous...Anyways,...

I must say that I am quite pleased with the whole approval process. I went for my assessment on 3/17 with Dr. Bagnato in Albany, GA. He was very nice and his staff were absolutely amazing. I didn't feel uncomfortable and they answered all my questions and went above and beyond.

Tomorrow is the big day. I'm so tired of the protein diet I'm actually very excited to have the surgery, because I know it means that some day i'll be able to have something more substancial than a protein drink. I had purchased Essence Vanilla protein mix and it was very tasty for a few days. Now everything smells like the proten shake and i feel like gagging when I drink it. Anyways I'll be able to move back to more normal food before long.
