I was banded yesterday. When I woke up in recovery all I could think was "Thank you Jesus." I don't know if I actually said it, but I know I thought it over and over again. I hate this. I feel like I'm back at square one again. I'm not even sure if the band is for me. I keep thinking have I really given traditional weight loss a chance? I know i've tried diets before and it always comes back because you fall off the wagon... but isn't that what the band is? Changing how much/what you eat? You can manipulate the band and eat most anything you want and how much you want. How do I know I'll have enough will power to stick with it after I have spent all that money....

I have lost 15 lbs, but so many more in inches. I can't believe I am already too "SMALL" for some of my clothes!

I actually got to wear my husbands jacket! Now, I have to admit, it is oversized for him, but WOW, it was a first for me.

I am loosing a lot in my thighs, arms and shoulders (kinda weird). But Hey, I will take it!

Hello!! I am new to this page, I just joined today.
I have so many questions about lapband and what to do, I do not know where to start. How many of you have had it and love it? Hate it? How well did it work? How long ago was it?
I am 29, I will be 30 in November, and I do not remember when I weighed less then 200lbs. I need to do something and I want to do it. But I am nervous. Can anyone give me some advice?
