I'm a 35 yr old female that had to have LAP-BAND^® sx. because I have Steatohepatitis "Fatty Liver" and am 1 stage away from Cirrhosis Of the Liver Because I am Obese. With the weight loss the hope is that what is left of my Liver can start repairing itself. I have already lost 30 lbs since the pre-sx. diet in December. and 20 lbs. since sx. on 1/28/08. Today I had my first band fill. And am having some pain/discomefort. But other then that I feel great, and clothes are starting to fit loser....

I had a bit of a scare in the mall yesterday. I had some soup and a few minutes later my stomach was a bit unnerved. Well I went to the health food store and got some ginger. That and alot of water to wash it through seemed to help. I did get diarrhea, but I didn't puke. I got really nervous thinking about getting sick and the band slipping.

This past Thursday morning I had the Lap-banding procedure completed. After checking into the hospital at 6am, I was wheeled of to surgery shortly after 7am. According to the doctor all went, everything went as planned. I was in my room shortly after 10am and my wife joined me just a few minutes later. Though, I was groggy I wasn't feeling to worst for wear. It wasn't until the following day, Friday, that I had any sizable discomfort. It was after leaving the hospital heading home that I started...
