This pre-op is for the birds. I haven't weighed myself but i feel lighter and my jeans are a little loose. my tongue is pasty. i suck on ice tchips. monday is the big day so this weekend i am going shopping to get some items. i am getting a little nervous, but i am sure i will be ok. untill tomorrow.

Okay I know I was told not to give up and I didn't but these two days I gave in. :faint: :hungry: . I ate not in excess though, but I had a last meal so to speak. I hate pizza in the afternoon and applebees maple blondie and appetizer wings that night. On Sunday I ate catfish cabbage for lunch, and Burger King for dinner. I got sick :sick

Today I am doing great. I made some soup for dinner and drank ensure and water. I am back on track and pray that my surgeon doesn't get me...

This was Friday and I really can't remember. I did good though and made sure not to have any solid food. Now Saturday I can't say that.

I did so good today until this evening. I prepared six ice trays full of pureed food. my mild chili and chicken & broc soup. Then went to a meeting with my ensure and water and was very optimistic. Well the meeting was from 6:30 until 11:20 and I was starving so I ate a chicken sandwich. :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

But I will not lay completely down. I will get up tomorrow and begin again.

Today was a lot better. I had my appointment with the nutritionist. I was able to get a better understanding of the liquids I can and can't have. I am excited that I can have chili during the pureed stage. I plan on cooking my soup and chili tomorrow and freezing it. I am having trouble finding protein powder though. don't really want any flavored bcause will be adding it to my food. i am now a little more optimistic :clap2: about the surgery. Still nervous about having extra skin bcause...
