I hit my highest weight at christmas 2007. I weighed 434 and decided enough was enough. I went through the process and had my surgery on 8/27/08. I finally hit restriction in 2/09 although I think it might be a bit too tight. However 88 pounds down and counting. I am having a really difficult time getting out of the fat mindset. I haven't ever been anything but fat...so I don't really know how to take up less space in the world.

I think Dr. Patterson is a gifted surgeon. However, I think that she has a good business going. I don't think that she listens to me and I have a lot of anxiety when I see her. I think she is impressed by the numbers, not by the discomfort of a band that might be too tight.
