I have always battled my weight! I would lose then gain more back than I ever lost in the first place! If someone would have told me that I would weigh 238 at age 39 I would tell them I don't think so! Now that am turn about to be fourty I am ready for big changes in my life. I am an RN who has not worked in 11 years. I decided to put my professional life on hold to to be home with my 2 children so my husbands career could excel. Now it is my turn back to school and a new me on the way!! Change is exciting and I love the thrill!!! I made the Lap Band appointment with Strax on 10/25/09 and waited to meet with the surgeon Dr. Choi and signed on that day for surgery on 10/05/09. Started the pre-op liquid diet and now here we are 1 day pre-op wt 214 today.        I CAN'T WAIT EYE ON THE PRIZE ALL THE WAY!!!
