My surgery was performed by Don Yarbrough at Sacred Heart Medical Center on 4/23/08. I couldn't of had a better experience with him as my surgeon. He was met me in the OR before surgery to explain everything he was going to do and what to expect when I woke up. He even pushed my bed down the hall with the nurses while still talking to me.I also had the best fill experience with him. So I didn't have to go back multiple times to reach my restriction level he had me lay down and put the needle in and filled the band completely. I could tell instantly that it was full. He had me stand up with the needle still in the port and take a sip of water. He slowly removed the saline until I was comfortable again and I could feel the cold water going through the band and into my stomach.This technique worked awesome! I havent had a fill in 11 months since he did that.
