I was 179 lbs and miserable. My husband was very supportive of my desire to have lb surgery and went to a seminar with me. After the seminar we met personally with the surgeon and scheduled the surgery for the next month. In between that time I had my psyc eval and attended the manditory nutrition class. I started the pre op diet 2 weeks prior to the surgery. The day of the surgery I was excited but had a 2 hour drive ahead of me prior to surgery. The surgery itself only took Dr. C 15 minutes to perform. Almost 1 year later I've lost a total of 65 lbs and I'm halfway there. Upon my 1 year bandiversary, I plan to have a total of 70 lbs lost leaving me 60 remaining to lose which I plan to have lost by my 2 year bandiversary.
