One thing to consider....the colon gets pretty empty during the liquid phase....and our Scale Numbers go down accordingly.
As we begin to refill it, the bolus in transit adds a bit to overall Scale Numbers...
"We" haven't gained, "we" are now counting a higher tare weight.
That is one of the reasons 'scales LIE'.....
