So long as your Dr knows your sleep study well (which I'm sure he does) - your Drug Dr will monitor you closely. My husband has apnea bad (machine & all) and he was all OK during his surgery.....
I had and do have a fear of "going under" - night night meds , not surgery....I told my Drug Dr he better wake me up after my LAP-BAND®, and DH better 2 (he was schedule an hr after me)....
You should be fine - maybe pre surgery jitters..??...Good luck for a safe "trip"..
