This is definitely a personal choice. You really need to weigh the pros and cons for both.

I personally chose the LAP-BAND®, due to be banded Sept. 28, because it puts you a lot more in control and I am very concerned about the extra skin and complications I have seen with the bypass.

Do your research and you will know which one is right for you.
