hi - I have been looking for others who have also gone through Dr Wilkinson.

I was banded on 3rd sept 09 and would love to talk more with others who are in the same boat - and on the same island!!!


So far so good - only one real day of sooking about having more bloody soup - but that has passed!! I have tried a little bit of mash veg - but quickly found out that I was not quite ready - felt too full.

My only complaint so far would be about the god awful pain that was from the residual gas after surgery. That was worse than my incisions. Dr W really should warn you about that and perhaps come up with a few suggestions as to how to ease the discomfort (i resorted to de-gas pills which took the edge off a little).
