....sorry you are having troubles.....I too was flipped out, near psycho the first week or 2....then I calmed down and fellow Bandsters helped guide me into my New Life....it really is a Big Step....and the efforts result in something Really Good....

If I had been 23 when this was available, I probably wouldn't have been smart enuff to make this choice.....I had to go thru another 36 years of increasing health problems before I was at the surgeon's side.

We must learn a new life style. We must acquire new habits. You are on the path. Look forward to reaching your goal. I admire you being able to take the steps you have already taken. Every day will get better. Trust your decision. The Band has improved my life so much already I don't even know how to offer you comfort.

This stage of discomfort will pass. The pain passes. Keep a journal for your journey. Measure all you body parts, from ankles to wrists to head size. Take photos. A month from now you will be surprised and pleased at your progress.

Follow your surgeon's directions. Face the future with a calmness that will give you strength during this awkward part of the journey.
