I actually have had private health insurance for just over 12 months now with AHM. However, we only have their inpatient plan (Family Hospital I think it's called) and I was just assuming that it wouldn't be covered.

I'll give them a call to ask, I was thinking about maybe asking them for some help with payment anyway, given it would probably prevent a lot of health problems later that they'd have to pay for.....but I thought that was a long shot!!
